21 December 2021

Gains that set the stage for the next round of negotiations

The Fédération du personnel de soutien scolaire (FPSS-CSQ) is pleased to announce the signing yesterday of three FPSS-CSQ collective agreements, namely S3, S12 and S13.

“This is good news for our members in the South, because the new agreements are applicable the moment they are signed.  But despite the gains made within the framework of the 2020 negotiations, there is still a long way to go to gain recognition commensurate with our contributions and the work school support staff perform in Quebec schools,” says FPSS-CSQ President Éric Pronovost. “We also,” he adds, “should not forget that negotiations for the Cree and Kativik collective agreements are still ongoing.
